In 2020, Roseanna Bowles had seven strokes within just a few months. Her medical team discovered that an undiagnosed condition was causing certain neck movements to temporarily cut off blood flow to her brain.
A stent was inserted to prevent the issue from recurring, but it left her weakened.
Roseanna was referred to Providence Healthcare for a period of rehabilitation. Within a few weeks, she was given a clean bill of health. And shortly after that, Roseanna went out dancing with her friends for the first time in three years—at 76 years young.

John Boag is an avid golfer. But when both of his legs had to be amputated within two years due to diabetes- related infections, he feared he would never golf again.
Thanks to the world-leading rehabilitative care available at Providence Healthcare, he didn’t have to worry. Just four days after being fitted for his second prosthetic leg at Providence, he was back on the golf course.
“My team knew I wanted to keep playing golf, so they designed my entire therapy program around golf,” says John. “Everything I was doing—stretching, twisting, balancing—was getting me ready to swing a golf club.”
