2026 The Providence Way Raise & Win Giveaway
Terms and Conditions

The Providence Way Raise & Win Giveaway (“Promotion”) is a limited-time fundraising initiative hosted by the Providence Healthcare Foundation (“PHCF”). Eligible registered participants who raise or self-donate qualifying funds during the Promotion Period will receive ballots for a chance to win one (1) $500 gift card to The Keg.

1. Promotion Period:
The Promotion begins August 17, 2026 (12:00 a.m. ET) and ends August 28, 2026 (11:59 p.m. ET). Only online donations processed during this period will qualify.

2. Eligibility Participants must:
  • Be registered for The Providence Way Walk & Roll.
  • Be at least 18 years of age or have guardian consent.
  • Fundraise through their official The Providence Way Walk & Roll fundraising page.
3. How to Enter Participants will automatically receive:
  • One (1) ballot for every cumulative $50 raised or self-donated during the Promotion Period. No separate entry form is required.
  • No donation or purchase necessary to enter to win:
Eligible individuals may enter the Contest without donating by submitting a handwritten essay of at least 300 words describing what Providence Healthcare means to them. The essay must be the entrant’s original work, handwritten in English, and include the entrant’s full name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number. Entries must be received during the Contest Period at: The Providence Healthcare Foundation, 3276 St. Clair Avenue East Scarborough, Ontario M1L 1W1 Canada. Winner must be able to correctly answer the skills testing question below: 1+X = 2

4. Winner Selection:
  • One (1) winner will be selected by random draw.
  • Winner will receive one (1) $500 CAD gift card to The Keg. 
  • Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible ballots received.
5. Prize winner will receive:
  • One (1) $500 CAD gift card to The Keg.
6. Prize Conditions:
  • Prize is non-transferable.
  • No cash value.
  • Gift card is subject to the restaurant's terms and conditions.
6. Winner Notification
Winners will be contacted within 3–5 business days following the Promotion Period using the contact information associated with their PHCF Registration. If a winner cannot be reached within 48 hours, PHCF reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

7. General Conditions
Only online donations successfully processed during the Promotion Period qualify. Fraudulent activity or manipulation of fundraising totals will result in disqualification. The PHCF reserves the right to verify eligibility.

8. Publicity
By accepting the prize, winners agree that PHCF may use their name, city, photograph and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation, where permitted by law.

9. Changes
PHCF reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion at any time should circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect the administration of the Promotion.

10. Acceptance
Participation in this Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
